Security Requirements
Indian Telecom Security Assurance Requirements (ITSAR) is a set of security requirements for MTCTE Certification of notified telecommunication equipment.
Equipment Type Approval (ETA)
ETA by WPC, DoT is needed for importing, selling, or using wireless devices in de-licensed bands. It’s granted via a self-declaration process.
IFMC License
IFMC, under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885, allows voice and data services on aircraft and ships, enabling seamless communication for passengers since Dec 14, 2018.
PMRTS (Public Mobile Radio Trunking Service)
PMRTS (Public Mobile Radio Trunking Service) enables group communication over shared radio frequencies, used by govt, emergency services, and businesses.
CMRTS
CMRTS offers dedicated mobile communication for organizations, ensuring secure, real-time coordination within a set area—ideal for safety, emergency, and enterprise use.
NOCs (SIM Licenses)
DoT issues NOCs for sale/rent of foreign roaming SIMs in India. Use allowed briefly pre/post travel. Firms must verify IDs, report sales, and follow strict rules.
Resale of IPLC Services
